2007 Bremerton Marina Expansion Project
American Construction Company (ACC) was awarded a contract to rebuild the Bremerton Marina in Bremerton, Washington.
ACC conducted the demolition and installation of several thousand square feet of a new floating dock system. To protect the newly construction marina, ACC installed a 1,400 foot floating concrete breakwater. ACC also installed the A-B floating pontoon by the Bremerton ferry transit. After, ACC completed 16,664 linear feet of new steel guide piles, new precast concrete docks, an extensive h-pile breakwater anchoring system, and a precast concrete wall wave barrier.
As a result of our work, ACC received the 2008 Outstanding Minor Project of the Year award from the American Society of Civil Engineers.
