2012 Snohomish River Dredging
American Construction Company (ACC) won a contract to dredge material for the Snohomish River Channel Maintenance Clamshell Dredging project. The project was essential for the economic growth of the Everett, Washington area and the surrounding community.
ACC expertly dredged over 770,000 cubic yards of sediment with a clamshell bucket and then transported for open water disposal using the ACC split-hull dump barges. This project allowed for the opening of waterway access which directly impacted the area's businesses. ACC maintained close communication with the client in order to provide continual updates of progress over the course of this project.
ACC's dredging experience combined with our positive relationship with Seattle District Corps of Engineers yielded complete satisfaction for all involved.
