2012 Swinomish Channel Dredging
American Construction Company (ACC) was awarded the contract to dredge material for the Swinomish Channel Maintenance Dredging project. The project created access for the waterways near the La Conner, Washington area.
ACC expertly dredged over 215,000 cubic yards of sediment with a clamshell bucket and then transported for open water disposal using the ACC split-hull dump barges. This project impacted many of the area's local businesses and gave the local residents the ability to continue their marine-based trade. ACC maintained close communication with the client in order to provide continual updates of progress over the course of this project.
ACC's historical experience in the area allowed ACC to be extremely efficient and complete the work at the high standard set by the ACC team.
